Check these settings
Tools/E-mail accounts
View or change Existing,click Next
Click on Change and near the bottom of the Accounts settings page click on "More Settings"
Click on Connection Tab
Make sure "Connect using my phone line" is not selected and in the box below select you ISP connection.
Click OK then Next and Finish
Tools/Options
Click Mail Setup Tab
Remove all boxes under dialup at the bottom.
Click OK
